We encourage people to walk safely around their house, neighborhood or favorite hiking path while maintaining social distancing and still have a meaningful walk to honor or remember their loved one(s).

JOIN US LIVE at 10:30am! Our homepage and the Community Hospice Facebook page will be LIVE for our program and to kick-off the Walk!

  2. Print a form to mail in or share
  3. Mail checks to The Community Hospice Foundation 310 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208
  4. Starting May 1st – Cash donations can be dropped off at The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany. Pull into the driveway, along the side of the building you will see a WALK For HOSPICE sign at the side door. Ring the bell inside the double doors. Drop off will be available Monday – Thursday 9am to noon – except for Memorial Day 5/31.
  5. On June 12th the day of the WALK, you can call in your credit card donations from 9am to 11am at 518-482-4433.
  6. To pay over the phone – call 518-525-1265 and ask for KJ.

Raise $100 or more and you will be entered into a drawing for a Fitbit. We will have multiple winners, which will be announced after the event.

Everyone who donates and registers for the Walk will receive a complimentary 2021 Virtual Walk T-shirt and Snack Pack – must be picked up at Siena College on 6/10 or 6/11 from our drive by Grab & Go Tent between 12-6pm. T-Shirt size availability on a first-come, first served basis.

On the day of the WALK – Winners will be calculated and announced on our website after 12:00pm (for your donation to count toward totals we must receive it by 11am)

To Calculate Winners

We will include all donations dropped off or received in the Foundation by noon Thursday, June 10th as well as donations done online or called in through 11am Saturday, June 12th. Those totals will be used to establish the Teams and Individual totals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners.

Winners will be posted after noon Saturday June 12th (once they are finalized).

You can continue to donate after that time, but the donation is not part of the calculation in the winning totals. However, our patients and families are our winners whenever you donate.
