Welcome to Team Todder's Trotters’s Page!
In 2014, my husband Tod was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer with a poor prognosis. After being sick for three months, it was decided that hospice was the best option. Hospice allowed Tod to be at home during his illness and death. The team of caregivers assigned to his care were second to none. Without that care, his desire to die at home would never have been possible. They not only took care of Tod but myself and other familly members, as well. After being part of what Hospice stands for, I developed a different and deeper appreciation for what Hospice is all about. Participating in the hospice walk on June 9th, is a way to raise needed dollars so that hospice can continue to provide much needed services to patients and their families facing terminal illnesses and death. Please consider joining me as a walker on my team or if unable to attend, making a donation in Tod’s memory. The name of my team is: Todder’s Trotters. Todders was a nickname for Tod that dates back many years. We will trot to finish line and make a difference together. Thank you.
