Welcome to Linda Lachanski’s Page!Team member of Sindu's Hospice Team
If you have ever used Hospice, you understand why I am walking for them. Not just to honor my father, but for their patients and families as well. When my father was in Hospice, it was a most difficult and painful time that I realized life was not indefinate. My family wanted the best for him. We did not want him to be in pain or suffer quality of life. Hospice was not something we had ever thought about before, and were unsure about having it for him. It turned out to be a wonderful, eye opening experience for all of us. He was our father, our hero, our inspiration, our teacher, our wise-ass, and he was leaving this earth. He needed help the family was not able to provide. Hospice was there – medically, physically and emotionally. They provided my father with a quality of life he deserved until his last breath. Words can’t expess enough the gratitude we have for Hospice workers and volunteers. Please help me support their mission so that other families going through a difficult time will have the strong support system we had with Hospice.
