What Does the Money Benefit?

All money raised will go to support the important coronavirus-related work our staff is doing. It will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to our patients and staff, help us add additional staff for increased bereavement services and Palliative Care visits, and purchase additional equipment such as iPads, as many of our hospice patients have to say goodbye to loved ones virtually.


Event Details

For our 2020 Walk, we’re asking you to do everything you normally would, except for one significant change:

Instead of gathering at Siena College on Saturday, June 13, we want you to walk safely around your house, your neighborhood or on a favorite hiking path. You can maintain social distancing and still have what we hope will be a meaningful walk.

We encourage people to walk safely around their house, neighborhood or favorite hiking path while maintaining social distancing and still have a meaningful walk to honor or remember their loved one (s).

@ 10:30am on our website there will be a link for everyone to view a short pre-recorded program.

  2. Mail checks to The Community Hospice Foundation 310 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208
  3. Call in to use your credit card 518-525-1265, ask for KJ
  4. Cash donations can be dropped off at The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany. Pull into the driveway, look along the side of the building, and you will see a WALK THE WEB sign on the side door. Ring the bell inside the double doors. Drop off will be available Monday – Thursday 9am to noon – except for Memorial Day 5/25.
  5. On June 13th you can call in your credit card donations from 9am to 11am at 518-482-4433.

There will be weekly Prize Drawings. Register to win!

Raise $100 or more and you will be entered into a drawing for a Fitbit. We will have multiple winners, which will be announced after the event.
