Again this year, our family will be participating in the Walk4Hospice in memory of our amazing mom. She showed us so much courage during her 2.5-year battle with lung cancer. Not a day goes by that we don’t miss her—her strength, her warmth, and the way she made everyone feel loved.

She was truly everything to so many—an incredible wife, mother, Grammie, sister, aunt, and friend. We continue to carry her with us in all we do, trying our best to live by the values she taught us. As someone once so perfectly said, we strive every day to “Live Like Betty.”

In her honor, we are once again supporting The Community Hospice, whose compassion and care meant so much to our family during her final days. This organization made an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable, and we are so grateful.
