Dave Lewis and John Freedman have been good friends and colleagues—and this year, they’ve come together as teammates for a truly meaningful cause.

Community Hospice is a vital part of our community, providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families during life’s most challenging moments. Their dedicated team of caregivers, chaplains, social workers, and volunteers bring comfort, dignity, and peace of mind to those in need.

Both Dave and John have experienced firsthand the profound impact hospice care can have. Dave’s family relied on Community Hospice when his father battled cancer, where their care brought comfort and improved the quality of the time they shared together. John also saw the importance of hospice care during his father’s battle with cancer. Though his father received care in North Carolina, he loved his native Upstate New York and would be proud to support Community Hospice today.

We are participating in the Walk for Hospice on June 13th at Siena College to raise funds and awareness for this incredible organization. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support Community Hospice and the thousands of patients and families who rely on their services.

Most importantly, they never turn anyone away, regardless of their ability to pay.
