Welcome to Team Team Grandpa's Girls/East Shore Angels’s Page!

Thank you for taking a moment to read this!
Team Grandpa’s Girls/East Shore Angels merges so much love, continued admiration for dynamic characters in our stories, and the utmost gratitude for the exceptional Hospice care they were provided with.
It’s hard to think about gifts when they are embedded in loss, but we ask you to recognize Hospice as exactly that. Hearing that someone you love has been recommended for hospice could feel like it’s the worst thing that could happen. Having gone through the process, it couldn’t be more opposite. The hardest thing was facing and accepting that your person is moving on to their next chapter; but then your love for them can allow those who specialize in mercy, compassion, and humanity begin their incredible work.
We remember our unique Hospice situations with common threads- we think of the words that were spoken that no one else could say, the questions about your lifetime of loving your person, the efforts to dignify them in every way, every day, and the comfort of them and you.
When you have so much love and appreciation in your heart for those that did so much for your person and your family, you want to see these programs continue. You want others to be aware that these exist and to spread the word, so that the right person at the right time will have what they need. It makes a life changing difference.
We appreciate any support that you can offer Community Hospice. If you can please talk about Hospice as the full support for loved ones and their families, if you can recommend their bereavement counseling to someone who needs it, or sponsor a grieving child to attend Camp Erin- it would be the most important “pay it forward” for us.
Thank you so much! Jules, Dee, Anne Marie, and the Lake Family
